Assembly work at home? What in the world is that? This is probably the first question that comes to mind when someone is considering this type of opportunity. Which is really quite rare to find to say the least. Most people have probably seen or read about home business opportunities like making dolls, putting toys together, and assembling crafts. If you want to give this a try what exactly does a person have to do to get started?

Well, let me explain a few things your really need to know. Assembly work at home involves putting together various products for a wholesale company. However, instead of doing it at the factory, you are given the option to do to the work from the comfort of your home. The items that you will be required to put together job can range from electronic circuit boards, dollhouses, stuffed animal, and embroidering. It's really a pretty easy task to do, but unfortunately, as I stated earlier, it's a lot rarer to find these opportunities than most people realize.

I do have to say it can be a great way to earn some extra money, pay off some bills, and take a vacation. And advertisements in the back of magazines, tabloids and newspapers make all of it sound so easy and fun. You can see why so many people flock to it. But there is a problem, some of these home-based jobs may well turn out to be just a big scam. It's an elaborate con job with the sole purpose of taking your hard earned money, without giving you much in return.

How Assembly Work At Home Scams Are Done

The first thing to watch out for is a company asking you to pay money to get started. They'll ask you to fill out a form, which you will later send back to them along with a 'cash deposit' for a registration fee. The normal range of this fee would be between $29.95 and as high as $59.95. Supposedly, it's payment for the information packet, instructions, and materials you will receive. They say this is a requirement that's needed in order to get you started on your assembly work at home opportunity. These vendors claim to have high level standards for all their products and in order for them to be able to sell your work, you will need to conform to all there rules and terms.

Once you have finished assembling the items, you will then need to send them back to the company for quality and safety assessment. This is where the problem begins so please continue reading. No matter how good your work is, it won't be able to measure up to the manufacture standards. This is because the company simply has no real interest in selling the products. This is the key component of the scam in the first place. So the result is, they got what they wanted: your money. And what do you have? A bunch of items you will have to sell yourself and try to make a profit and get back the money you've lost.
